Do I have to take all five pillars, or can I book just one service?
You can book a single service — such as a standalone website, a R149/mo hosting plan, a R1,250 Pty Ltd registration, or a run of embroidered golfers — or combine multiple services into one coordinated launch package.
Who owns my domain name, website code, and logo files?
You do. We register domains in your name (or your company's name), and once your project invoice is paid in full, you own the final logo vectors, brand guide, copy, and website files outright. If you ever wish to move hosts in the future, we provide a full archive and transfer code without fuss.
How long does a typical website or branding project take?
A focused one-page website or brand kit typically takes 5 to 10 business days once we have your questionnaire notes. A full multi-page website or catalogue site (5–10 pages) typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. CIPC Pty Ltd registrations usually complete within 2 to 5 business days after director ID verification.
Can you move my existing website or domain without breaking my email?
Yes — we do this every week. Whether your mail is on Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or an existing cPanel/DirectAdmin server, we inspect your MX, SPF, and DKIM records before switching DNS so your email continues working without interruption while your new website goes live.
Are your South African registration services legal, tax, or accounting advice?
No. Wakeful Studio provides administrative document preparation and filing services based on the information you provide. We are not a law firm, registered tax practitioner, or accounting firm. Government statutory fees (such as the CIPC R175 company registration fee or R50 name reservation fee) are passed through at cost. If you need complex shareholder agreements, tax structuring, or audited financial statements, we will gladly coordinate with your attorney or accountant.
How do pricing, currency, and VAT work?
All published prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are stated excluding VAT if applicable. For international clients in the UK, Europe, US, or Australia, our website shows fixed USD / GBP / EUR price sets, billed in the currency you select, and we can issue quotes and invoices in your preferred currency on request.
Was Wakeful Studio previously called Brandcrew?
Yes. Wakeful Studio evolved from Brandcrew (brandcrew.co.za), uniting our web, brand, hosting, South African registration, and corporate gifting services under the Wakeful Studio name. All existing client accounts and support continue seamlessly.
